TESTING FOR HORMONE LEVELS

  • The only way to determine whether you have hormone imbalances.

  • Before considering starting any hormone replacement for anti-aging, we require testing of hormones through Blood tests, Saliva tests, and Urine tests.

  • Blood tests will include sex hormones in the bloodstream bound to carrier proteins and unavailable to target tissues

  • Saliva test:  is the most reliable test for hormones, including testosterone and DHEA levels

  • Urine test: will also include follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which is involved in sperm production.

  • During Hormone Replacement, your hormones will be monitored to avoid excessive levels of testosterone, which can increase your blood pressure and may affect kidney function.

DHEA: - REPLACEMENT THERAPY

What is DHEA, and why is it important? DHEA also known as dehydroepiandrosterone, is found in both men and women, and produced by the adrenal glands, and is lost with the aging process. At about age 25 years the levels of DHEA start decreasing. Replacement of DHEA improves libido and erectile dysfunction, prevents worsening of osteoporosis, as well as maintains a healthy body mass and skin elasticity.

TESTESTERONE - REPLACEMENT THEAPY

Testosterone maintains healthy red blood cell production, bone mineral density, retaining healthy muscle and body mass, and is responsible for maintaining healthy sexual function.

PREGNENOLONE - REPLACEMENT THERAPY

Stress and age are two contributing factors toward the loss of pregnenolone in men and women with aging. Found in high concentrations in younger years. Replacement therapy for pregnenolone can increase libido, energy levels, improved memory retention, improve menopause symptoms in women, and improve vision.
