Post-treatment
  • Skin has 3 days of redness, and feels like sandpaper for 1 week.

  • After the procedure apply hydrating skin protectant “Aquaphor” for 3 days, then switch to moisturizing “CeraVe” cream containing hyaluronic acid.

Complications 
  • Hyperpigmentation may occur in brown and olive skin clients, therefore bleaching creams are recommended to be used after the first months of skin resurfacing, and may be given for 2 weeks prior to CO2 laser resurfacing.

  • Herpes Soars Flare-ups may occur as a complication in chronic carriers after laser treatment, therefore anti-viral medication are given before treatment and during recovery time.
